I am a registered and insured psychosynthesis counsellor, having completed a three-year training at The Psychosynthesis Trust in London. Alongside my counselling practice, I’ve also run a successful drum teaching school in East Sussex for over 20 years.
Throughout my teaching career, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, young people, and adults—including those who are neurodiverse. Over time, the trusting relationships formed through regular lessons created a space where students often felt safe to open up and share their challenges. These experiences moved me deeply and motivated my journey into counselling.
Having experienced the transformative power of therapy myself, I now offer counselling in East Grinstead and online—supporting clients to explore their inner world and move toward healing and personal growth.
In addition to my core training in psychosynthesis counselling, I’ve also trained with Cruse Bereavement Support, a volunteer-led organisation supporting those who are grieving. Their mission—to create a world where everyone grieving is supported, respected, and understood—aligns closely with my own values in therapeutic work.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), which means I adhere to their ethical framework and professional standards. I am also listed on Psychology Today, where you can find more information about my background, approach, and availability.
Life’s challenges can pull us away from who we truly are. The influence of people, events, and past experiences can leave us feeling confused, stuck, or disconnected. Counselling provides a supportive, non-judgemental space to explore these difficulties and reconnect with your sense of self.
As a Psychosynthesis Counsellor, I aim to work collaboratively with you—building a trusting relationship where you feel seen, heard, and supported. Together, we’ll explore not only who you are now, but who you have the potential to become, at a pace that feels right for you.
My aim is always to help you feel seen, heard, and empowered throughout your counselling journey.
A non-judgemental and confidential space where you can feel safe.
A counsellor who truly listens and validates your experience.
Encouragement and reassurance to help you navigate life’s challenges.
A sense of working together toward meaningful goals, rather than being told what to do.
A dependable, steady presence you can count on each week.
A genuine, compassionate, and approachable presence.
Feeling heard, valued, and in control of your own healing process.
Feel free to reach out—I’d be happy to answer any questions and explore how we might work together.
Once you get in touch via email or phone, we’ll arrange a time for your first session. This is a chance for us to get to know each other, explore your reasons for seeking counselling, and answer any questions you may have about the process. It’s important that you feel comfortable and safe before beginning.
I offer both counselling in East Grinstead and online sessions, depending on what works best for you.
